We Are Called to Engage the World
New Hope Gives Back
The New Hope Missions Team is rolling out a new initiative called “New Hope Gives Back!” We’ll be partnering with some of our local nonprofits and charities to give back to our community. We’re kicking that off at Amazing Grace Food Pantry here in Wylie. Every 4th Thursday we’ll be sending groups from New Hope to serve at the food pantry as they help fight hunger here in Collin County.
This is a great way to get to know other New Hope folks and building community through service.
We’ll have morning and evening spots available. Make sure to ware your New Hope shirts if you have them.

2025 Poland Mission Trip
New Hope is planning a Mission Trip to visit our friends Marek and Marysia Kiewra in Gryfow Slaski, Poland on May 9th - May 17th, 2025.
Marek and Marysia Kiewra lead a church and a Mission Conference Center in their area and are involved with all types of outreach including street ministry, feeding programs and assisting Ukrainian refugees with accommodations and support. You can check out more of what they’re up to HERE.
Our New Hope Mission Team will jump in and assist them where needed. When we travel to other locations, we’re always looking at ways to support and encourage our global missions partners around the world who are advancing the kingdom.
Marek is passionate about Jesus, but also about sharing their culture and history. The last part of the trip will include travel to several historical sites within Poland including Auschwitz Prison Camps from World War II.
If you have questions about this trip or are interested in serving with us, please email Josh@newhopechristian.org or catch me on a Sunday to chat. I’m looking forward to serving with you.

Thailand Mission Trip
In January of 2024 we took a short term missionary group from New Hope to Chiang Mai, Thailand to partner with our friends Zach & Anneke Price and the Bella Goose organization. Their mission to create a place of belonging and lasting impact through community building, vocational training and transition programs. They educate, protect and empower vulnerable women, children and communities in Northern Thailand.
Bella Goose use their coffee shops in Northern Thailand to help employ, train and empower the community that they serve, all while spreading the word about Jesus.
Our team made lots of new ministry contacts and we now have a wide array of possible serving opportunities while in this beautiful country.
If interested in heading to Thailand on our next mission trip email josh@newhopechristian.org for more info.

Amazing Grace Food Pantry
Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 60 TONS of food every month to Wylie area families.
This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.
- Do you have some free time on your hands?
- Do you enjoy helping those in need?
- Do you want to give back in some way that really changes the quality of life for someone?
They welcome volunteer groups! If your Life Group, Youth Group or Friend Group would like to schedule a day to volunteer as a team building exercise, or to regularly adopt group-size tasks (e.g. yard work, improvements, cleanup, etc.), they’d love to hear from you! Call (972) 292-7241 to leave a voicemail message or use the contact form here
