NH Leadership transition

New Hope started in the living room of Keith and Susan Spurgin’s home in the late 90’s. Since then, they have led this amazing group of people for 27 years. It has been a journey that has taken all of us farther than we ever dreamed. Thousands of lives have been changed--marriages healed, addicts set free, lifelong relationships established, missionaries sent around the world, and so many have come to Christ or come back to him. 

In January of 2024 after much prayer and processing, Keith and Susan shared with the New Hope Elder Team that they felt like God was calling them to a new season and transition was coming. The team spent 2024 processing, praying, grieving, and planning for a healthy and well thought out founder transition. In January 2025, that plan was presented to the staff, then the leaders and volunteers, and finally to the entire congregation.
