We believe God has called New Hope to be a church that has a passion for Christ and compassion for the world. To accomplish this task we envision a church...
...where people's lives are transformed by the power of God at work through life changing worship, powerful teaching, and dynamic relationships. A Church where people are welcomed, cared for, and nurtured equally whether they are a believer or an unbeliever. Where people are brought closer to Christ through a culturally relevant weekend service and community based ministries that are geared to reach the unchurched. Where people are invited in and trained through small groups and training seminars.
...where Leaders lead and Members minister. Our Leaders lead by equipping, training, developing future leaders, and motivating others. Our Members minister by using their God given gifts, passions, and abilities to do the work of ministry. Members commit themselves through covenant to Growth, Ministry, Community, and Giving.
...that is continually growing in depth (spiritually) as well as breadth (numbers). A Church that is 500 people with 30 active small groups by 2005; and 1000 people with 75 small groups by the year 2010. A Church where 50% of its membership has come as a result of baptisms.
...that will look outside itself, birthing at least one church per year, sending missionaries all over the world and helping to establish Kingdom businesses that will change the world.
...that is willing to take risks to do great things for God. A people that are continually willing, ready, and excited to change. A Church where effectiveness, not the number of programs, determines success. A spiritual family that will do great exploits for God and change the world by the direction of the Holy Spirit and through the power of Jesus Christ!
